Pokémon HOME Updated To Version 2.0.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes - Nintendo Life

2022-05-28 10:38:28 By : Ms. Helen Weng

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have released a new update for Pokémon HOME - bumping the cloud storage service app up to Version 2.0.1. This latest update addresses some minor glitches and "other issues". Here are the full patch notes, courtesy of Perfectly Nintendo:

- Fixed an issue in which users’ Boxes in the Nintendo Switch version were not displayed on the label selection screen when selecting Pokémon for a trade.

-- Other issues have also been addressed in order to ensure a user-friendly experience.

Version 2.0.0 was a major update for HOME - adding long-awaited compatibility with the most recent entries in the series Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. You can find out more in our previous stories:

I finally got Original Form Magearna after the Arceus Update!

Somehow I can get the move tutor to get moves without using up heartscales in the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Remakes!

@Gravitron I'm still waiting for a darn Marshadow....

@PokemonDMG That's normal. You get that after giving him a certain amount of Heartscales. I forget the exact amount though.

I've been using Home so much lately I now have over 2000 Battle Points in Shining Pearl which removes that annoying grind. 3BP for every 7 battles won is just ridiculous. With such a pathetic Reward given in the Battle Tower it almost makes it a complete waste of the Player's time when you have so little to show for it. Because I played so much of Sword and Shield's Battle Tower recently I forgot just how tedious earning Battle Points in the older games Battle Tower really was.

@RubyCarbuncle @PokemonDMG 10 Heart Scales to be exact.

@RubyCarbuncle Using Home gives you BP?!

According to Serebii, this also fixes that dreaded Error 10015 so I'll probably bite the bullet and get it now myself. I can't wait to start a pseudo Shiny Living Dex (in addition to a regular living dex of course)!

@Gahdrii : Same. And the gorilla legendary from Sword/Shield are the only two Pokémon I have never obtained.

Marshadow was my fault as EB was handing out codes for a time, and I had gone there about three times in a 4-week period, and forgot to ask for some codes every single time.

As for the Gen VIII gorilla, I don’t think it was ever distributed in Australia... or at least not in a manner I was made aware of.

Yeah I'm nz and the only way to get it that I'm aware of was ultraS/M

@RainbowGazelle It does yes. Keep depositing Pokémon into Home and moving them into games and over time your BP will build up.

@RubyCarbuncle Thanks for the info! I didn't realise that.

@RainbowGazelle No worries. Just a tip though, deposit and move lots of Pokémon at once to get lots of BP. Just catch a load of Pokémon you're not going to use and keep moving them back and forth to different games. I know that's what I did. I caught a load of Shinx and Bidoofs lol

@Silly_G and @Gahdrii I've got a couple spare Marshadow if you're interested? Can't help with Zarude cause I think I've only got one, but if either of you wanna trade for a Marshadow, I think I have...4 spares?

@Krimzon121 : That would be great! But if they're stored in a Cherish Ball, I don't think you can trade them to other players, unfortunately.

Ideally, I should have also had four, but stupid me for forgetting to pick up those codes.

@Krimzon121 if it can't be done through home, can it be done through sword and shield. If so, Switch SW-4150-4004-1847. Home: JNESCBPPHHAX
